How to Use Punky 3-in-1 Color Depositing Shampoo & Conditioner?

1. To avoid spotting, put on gloves. Wet hair thoroughly.
2. From scalp to ends, massage the hair. Depending on the level of color desired, it may be left on the hair for 3 to 10 minutes.
3. Reapply gentle massage to the hair, then rinsing with cool water.
4. Before drying, comb hair with a wide-tooth comb. Style as usual.

How Temporary Are the Results After One Wash?

It depends on the length of time you leave it on and the original color of your hair. It is more visible if you have light or white hair. It only tones dark hair. It fades fairly quickly after about ten to fifteen minutes of use.

I use it on my 68-year-old, white, grey, and brown hair for 30 minutes. After the first wash or two, it turns bright purple for a few washes before fading over the following six weeks to the point where it is barely visible. I then repeat. When I wash and rinse my hair, some of the color comes out for the first week or so.

It also stains everything it touches, including grout and an acrylic tub/sink, as other reviews have noted. You should use comet cleanser or other cleaners that contain bleach.

Can I Use This to Maintain Semi Permanent Dyes?

Yes, a dye in a strong hue, such as red, pink, or purple, will wash out after about a month. On the other hand, as long as you use this shampoo, you can keep that color! It will keep refreshing the color to keep it vibrant. However, unlike dye, it won’t cover roots as they spread out.

Will This Deposit Color in My Already Red Dyed Hair?

This stuff adds a lot of color, so yes, definitely. It costs me a lot to go to a salon when I use it on my natural hair, so I can assume that it will cost at least as much to process processed hair. I use it every two to three weeks to maintain the color, and I constantly receive compliments. So far, I’ve used blue, red, and purple.

I’m overjoyed that I finally discovered this on Amazon. this is my go to for when i just dyed my hair. i purchased the teal color first and it kept my hair bright and the color would stay.

I used to use it once every week or every two weeks for a very long time because I use hair products that don’t strip the dye or use too much abrasiveness, so the color stays. now im using the red, my hair was an orange brownish color due to another product immediately stripping off my red on first wash when it claimed it would help keep my red hair vibrant, red, etc. and this brought it back right away.

I frequently receive compliments and inquiries about how I manage to maintain such healthy, beautiful hair all year long. i love the smell of this product. my hair smelled like chemicals from the dye i used and normally that lasts for up to 2 weeks but thanks to this I have already left it. I was eager to try this product because pink hair is SUCH A PITA to color.. Although sceptical at first, I was blown away after using it just once! You really don’t need to use another conditioner after using this one; it made my hair incredibly smooth and vibrant without sacrificing luster. I’ve never used a shampoo and conditioner set that actually did what it claimed to do… until now.

It smells like a cross between bubble yum and banana laffy taffy. Set a timer for 10 minutes or you’ll be disappointed, and wear gloves unless you don’t care if your hands get stained at all.

If you’re worried that your shower will get stained (as is the case with any fantasy colors), buy a bottle of spray bleach and stop complaining:D It works wonders and, in all honesty, all you have to do is spritz some bleach on and walk away. Hooray lazy!

The N’rage color deposit shampoo and conditioner is no longer available, so I bought this to replace it. This product is very comparable, and it even has a similar scent. A slightly bubblegum-like scent actually makes me feel better.

Nearly identical to the teal N’rage in terms of color. I applied this about three weeks ago, and the color has miraculously held throughout that time. Please note that my hair has been bleached to a level 10, so this works very well and I am very impressed. If you have darker, unbleached hair, this might not work as well for you. This bleeds very little, as far as I can tell. Really only after using it for a few days after the initial period.
